disassembling - Minor Injuries

a_musinglyHe had promised Bucky that the next mission he has Bucky can come along. He'd given Bucky a few days notice as promised, warned the Avengers not to make a fuss. Mission was a simple one; the new SHIELD under Director Coulson had found a HYDRA cell holed up in one of SHIELD's old remote bases. The info passed to them suggested they've been experimenting with biological weapons, something that made them all angry.
The mission started off well, with them hitting the Hydra cell unawares and and taking out targeted objectives one by one with no casualties or even minor problems. The complication came when they were doing one last check of the premises before destroying it.
An explosion came from the back, marked Storage L, just as Steve was about to step into that section of the base. Immediately his shield came up to cover him and his partner, even so the resulting shockwave was almost enough to knock him over.
"Bucky? Are you alright?"
