Tony was something of an acquired taste Steve had to admit. But the man was genuinely kind and generous underneath the talk and bluster if you cared to dig past the exterior and the first time they met, Loki's interference or not, Steve was ashamed to admit that he'd not seen past the prickly front. Steve's understood after long association it was what Tony was NOT saying that was more important than the hundred words that was coming out of the man's mouth. "He knows." Steve said reassuringly. "I explained it twice and pretty sure Natasha did too." As long as Tony kept it to looks it was fine. "You're right I wouldn't Why would I complain about such a unique accessory to my uniform?" He bantered back.

He sighed contentedly as Bucky settled down, and turned to rest his cheek on Bucky's back, careful not to put his entire weight on Bucky. Not that he thought Bucky couldn't take it but this was comfort, not wrestling or sparring. Awkward morning or not, he'd missed this in the past week.

"Yes I know, but will you actually work with the other Avengers?" Steve asked, half expecting the answer to be know. He wasn't unaware of what Bucky did best; the file Natasha handed him after Project Insight had detailed quite a few of the missions the Winter Soldier was sent on. "I don't know....you could surprise me with almost anything and I'll probably like it." Everyone among the Avengers knew not to push Bucky for information. Captain's orders. Steve lifted his head off of Bucky's back, his voice serious. "If want to...do...anything about those agents, I'd like it if you told at least me beforehand. Otherwise if you don't want to do anything, that's fine too. It's your choice."
