The pills in Steve's opinion was a far better option than the things he was forced to ingest seventy years ago. His asthma seems to be under control for now but in case it flares up there was he inhaler instead of cigarettes for him to smoke. Pills to help keep it under control in the first place. The same for his heart problems. Vitamins which were mostly tasteless were a far better option than the liver he ate regular just to keep healthy. There wasn't anything much anyone could do about his spine or his eyesight but all in all this was everything he's lived with all his life and he was used to it.
Steve paused in the middle of washing up and turned to look at his friend when Bucky started to divest himself of the heavy gear, only hearing bits and pieces of Bucky's voice with only one good ear. While he was happy Bucky was finally taking them off, it was at odds with what Bucky was insisting on before. "Bucky? What's wrong?" He put down the pot he'd been scrubbing and padded over on bare feet over to his friend.
