He raised an eyebrow when Steve seemed about to object to him being in the fort already, but he was pleased when his friend thought better of it. He was here and comfortable and while he had no plans to sleep, this was as safe a place as any in the apartment and still his favourite. He patted the spot invitingly where Steve normally takes up space, but it looked quite different when he friend slipped inside.

There was plenty of room where there wasn't usually, and he grabbed the spare blanket from just on the outside and dragged it in to throw over Steve in particular before he was slipping under and nestle down next to his small friend.
