Steve's nose wrinkled as he tried to explain his thoughts. "It's...just a feeling? Not really rational I know but that's how I feel. Maybe it's because I'm smaller...." He was smaller now but still full grown and not exactly as small as he was when he was a child huddling in a cushion fort with his best friend in a rickety old apartment. The cushions and blankets they were using now were of far better quality then their families could afford back then. He also wasn't sure why Bucky was fixated on Steve lying on Bucky; they weren't quite cuddling yet despite their closeness. "I was trying to look out for you, but fine, I'll climb on top but no complaints if my elbows or knees dig into you someplace uncomfortable."
He shifted gingerly towards Bucky, uncomfortably aware that Bucky was entirely naked. At least he still has all his own clothes on, small comfort that was. "You're right...I'm not tired enough to sleep yet. So what do you suggest we do?"
