They had certainly played and slept often enough together in pillow forts when they were children. There were less cuddling involved back then, more sleeping side to side, or play involving children's toys scattered here and there. Those were happy memories that he hoped Bucky would eventually regain. Steve shot Bucky a look one that said 'you're not fooling anyone here.' That pose had looked ridiculous on Clint (and often earned Clint a swat from Natasha) and looked similarly ludicrous on Bucky.
