"People only used to call you 'James' if you were in trouble." Steve hummed. Several people came to mind, most of them long dead like their old school teachers, Bucky's mother, and Colonel Philips. Formal names sounds more impressive when listed out one by one in that particular tone of voice. "Alright. Bucky it is." Certainly if Bucky wanted to to use another name he would have but he has always liked the name Bucky best.

Steve made another squeaking noise as he felt the offending hand pet his buttocks again. "I need my inhaler. And to get clean now." If he started squirming again in Bucky's lap again it might start something he's not sure his body can take again so soon even if mentally he doesn't really object. This excuse should give both of them a bit of a break.
