He waited until Steve was clean before he began to steal some of the water by cupping his hands to gather it to wash himself. There wasn't enough room to comfortably switch positions, and he was more than fine staying behind and keeping an eye on Steve to make certain that his friend didn't have any kind of physical attack from their two separate adventures.
"Okay," he said, waiting for the proverbial rules so that he could apply himself to memorizing them and being completely aware of them at all times. He frowned when he was instead told to wait, but he knew that waiting would make it better. Steve looked on the verge of collapse as it was, so he didn't push. He was patient after all.
He stepped out of the shower and grabbed a towel, wrapping it around his waist and offering Steve the second one. "Okay, where are we sleeping?"
