Maybe it would change with time but for now, being close enough to feel each other's body heat was what they both preferred after being apart for more than a day or two. He was certainly capable of (and did!) behaving professionally and civilly. And despite what some people would say, he certainly doesn't pine or sulk when Bucky was away or they had to work separately apart for missions.
A surprised 'oof' escaped Steve's mouth when he was hauled up unceremoniously and it turned into a laugh as Bucky dragged him off away from the chair. "Left....doorway next to the bathroom." He trailed kisses down from Bucky's temple down to the cheek, then the jaw, entirely happy to let Bucky steer the way to the bed. It was a really big bed too, enough to fit three of Steve and he wasn't small.
