They both took their duties too seriously to be distracted for long from them, though he admitted there was a certain pull to interrupt a mission now and again to steal kisses and perhaps a groping. He never went further than that, saving his desire for affections for when it wouldn't leave a huge vulnerability for them to take their clothes off. Steve put up far less resistance than he would have expected, though it was clear that the Avengers thought that his friend's nearly complete lack of resistance towards him exasperating.
