Captain America would always be a part of him now, Steve knows. And a great many people will never see him as anything else. The other Avengers, as much as they know him, will never not be able to associate him as 'only Steve.' So he was doubly glad that Bucky was here, who he would always be Steve first. He would never think of helping Bucky relearn the world as 'putting up' with him. It was a pleasure and a privileged. And as he helped Bucky, Steve found himself learning new things as well, far more eagerly than he had before.
The expression on Bucky's face makes him wish he had his sketchbook, charcoals and two extra arms (and maybe another brain as well) so he could get it down on paper. Either way, he would never forget. "I know Bucky..." He murmured back almost as breathlessly, not even feeling the arms that were clinging on to him tight enough to bruise.
Steve could tell when Bucky was close and kept up the pace with his hand and continued on stroking even after Bucky came, until nothing more spilled out. As Bucky recovered, he dropped kisses on Bucky mouth, cheek and jaw.
