By the time Bucky returned Steve was lounging on top of the covers, sitting partially up against the headboard and pillows. He hadn't bothered putting pajamas back on, knowing that Bucky would insist they come off immediately and he was feeling too mellow for another discussion over sleeping clothes. (He refused to acknowledge that he was getting used to sleeping without clothing, no matter how cold it was; Bucky was warm enough in any case.)
"HYDRA is to blame for kidnapping me, I didn't kidnap myself." Steve pointed out as Bucky tossed the pillows (only four of them) this way and that onto the bed and caught the one that fell conveniently into his lap. "That's my defense. I have no control over what they do or think." He paused and looked at the pillow consideringly. "And I feel compelled to tell you that you may have 4 free hits with the pillow before I start responsive action." That should be fair enough; four pillows, four hits.
