Steve slipped his hands behind his head in a casual pose, waiting until Bucky finished his visual inspection of their surroundings. Other than the addition of feathers, nothing has changed. In any case, with their enhanced hearings any surprise 'visitors' would be detected before they got one foot in the door, Steve was sure. Especially Bucky, who seemed to sleep with one ear open, no matter their sleeping positions. Most often then not that was draped over Steve's torso, their legs entangled. At Bucky's insistence, occasionally Steve would be the one draped over Bucky, though he was rather dubious about Bucky's comfort like this; how could he be when Steve was both bigger and heavier than he was?
"We ARE on vacation, or at least I am." Steve responded wryly. "That's the entire point of them sending me here, however sneaky they thought were being. And that's one you do on vacations I think. Sleep as late as you want, go to bed as late as you want?" Steve rather doubted he would if it had been a normal day yesterday. His days in the army has firmly fixed his habits into sleeping early and rising early. Steve returned the quick peck of his lips with a quick one of his own. "You can start the shower first, I need to make a few calls...order breakfast and arrange for a rental car."
He grinned at the feather picked out of his hair, an inevitable consequence of sleeping in a mess of destroyed pillows without cleaning up first, sliding off the bed after Bucky and pressing another quick kiss to Bucky's cheek in response to the nuzzling. "Yes...well...after we clean up the feathers here. The staff doesn't need extra work cleaning that up, that was all us." He was going to be leaving a big tip to the cleaning staff as well.
