"Mission?" Steve asked in spite of himself. He leaned forward as the other mer stared at him, until they were so close their noses are almost touching. He was tempted to wave a hand in front of the other mer's eyes but was then distracted by the question. "Oh, I'm fine. I like it right now, right after a storm. It's fun and there's all sorts of interesting new things to find," Steve answered cheerfully. The clan was used to his antics by now and didn't have too much to say in admonition, only a reminder here and there to be careful.
